US Draws Mexico 2-2 In WC Tuneup

The United States gave up a two goal halftime lead to draw Mexico in front of nearly 60,000 fans at the University of Phoenix Stadium on Wednesday.

Debuting their new World Cup away uniforms, the U.S. struck early through Michael Bradley and Chris Wondolowski, but couldn’t hold on to the lead against their fiercest CONCACAF rivals.

Jurgen Klinsmann’s men gave up two second half goals to overshadow the other much-anticipated debut, that of teenager Julian Green of Bayern Munich just before the hour mark.
