Team World Lost to Team USA 9-7 in the 6th annual edition of the Steve Nash Showdown in Chinatown at Sarah D. Roosevelt Park in New York City on Thursday.

The Los Angeles Lakers point guard suffered his first ever loss at the charity event as Bulls center Joakim Noah was awarded the Girard-Perregaux MVP trophy for his performance with Team USA.

A host of soccer stars from around the world were joined by several NBA players and other celebrities to play in the charity match hosted by the Steve Nash Foundation to raise money for underprivileged children.
