One World Futbol Project
The One World Futbol Project represents an effort to provide the joy of soccer to youth around the world through a virtually indestructible ball that never goes flat and never needs a pump.
For every ball purchased One World provides a second ball to children in disadvantaged communities such as refugee camps, war zones, disaster areas, and inner cities.
The product’s inventor Tim Jahnigen was inspired to create the product after watching news footage of kids in Darfur playing a soccer game using a ball of trash tied up with twine.
The project has already featured coverage from CNN and NBC, and is sponsored in part by Chevrolet, Crocs, and world‐renowned entertainer Sting.
