Street Soccer USA’s effort to eradicate homelessness through sports took center stage in Manhattan on Monday as they hosted the 2013 National Open Cup Championship in Times Square.

The 4v4 tournament featured teams of homeless and formerly homeless athletes from across the country which competed to determine the team that will represent the U.S. at the Homeless World Cup in Poland later this summer.

All funds raised go to support the Street Soccer USA social program. For results and more info visit their official website.
