Messi Scores Role As UN Advocate

Leo scored a respectable goal for humanity on Tuesday.

The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon announced at a press conference in Manhattan that Mr. Messi has been appointed to a group of official Sustainable Development Goals Advocates.

The Barcelona forward has been working with the UN as a Goodwill Ambassador since 2010 and will assist the committee of world leaders on their mission to “end poverty, achieve shared prosperity, build peace, and secure a life of dignity and a healthy planet for present and future generations,” according to the UN note to correspondents.
