Ivory Coast Defeats Egypt 4-2 In Friendly
The Ivory Coast defeated Egypt 4-2 in a friendly match at the Al-Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
Arsenal striker Gervinho notched a double for the Elephants, who looked sharp even without some of their biggest names in the final tune-up match before the 2013 AFCON, which kicks off on January 19th.
Meanwhile Egypt, who are coached by former U.S. National Team manager Bob Bradley, look to be going through a difficult spell after missing out on this year’s Africa Cup of Nations by losing to the Central African Republic last June.
